Automotive Detailer / Shop Hand

Coachwerks Restorations is a very successful restoration facility with an over 4 decade lineage in world class restorations that was established by joining the former Rudi & Company and Coachwerks auto body operations. We are currently looking for a Automotive Detailer / Shop Hand to join our team. Are you looking for something unique? Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with estimators and management team regarding any deficiencies in the post repair
  • Exterior pre-clean of vehicles booked in for repairs
  • Move vehicles to and from tech work stations as required.
  • Maintain tidy and organized work space
  • Manage delivery schedule for post repair detailing with estimators
  • Control and manage detail department supplies as required
  • MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT AT ALL TIMES

Qualifications, Experience, Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience
  • Drivers License with clean abstract
  • Computer skills
  • Polishing new and old finishes
  • Interior and exterior detailing
  • Moving cars in and out of shop for technicians
  • Good house keeping habits
  • Prepare and wash cars for estimators to provide collision estimates
  • Wash, vacuum and prepare cars for customer pick ups
  • Wet sand polishing an asset meeting luxury industry standards
  • Maintain quality control
  • Good customer communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as being self motivated
  • Produce a consistent, high quality product
