On May 30th, 2017 the 100 Women Who Care Cowichan Valley, held their latest chapter meeting at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit.
This group of passionate and compassionate women outgrew their previous venue while we were pleased to offer a new venue to host their growing 1-hour fundraising challenge.
Members came together to give their presentation of a Cowichan Valley organization that would benefit greatly from the collective efforts of this group. It was a great way for everyone to network, get familiar with other like-minded people and share their support for the neighbourhood in a spacious area with plenty of tables to have round-table discussions or private meeting areas to practice their presentations.
After each delegate had presented and within the hour, they came together to vote and chose Providence Farm as their beneficiary and raised $25,200 for their cause.
We want to congratulate the 100 Woman Who Care Cowichan Valley, and glad that we could provide a venue for them to organize the great community work they do.
Together we all support the community that we work and live in and pleased to help organizations who give back to it.
Local women in the Cowichan Valley, who care about our community, coming together to make a difference in where we live.
